Back in Sydney - where the winter has arrived!!! Rain, squals, cool temps and humidity... ocean still is at 21C. Basically getting down to some computer buisness... emails, journal, and particulars. Also preparing for Bill's arrival, Carolina's Visa and the American Airline debacle. Still with my wonderful hosts: Conway and Nat in their new living arrangment... LIVING TOGETHER! The happy couple! Kings Canyon - After a Champaign sunset dinner in the middle of the desert watching the dramatic sunset fall on the Olgas and Uluru... we witnessed a star field that can only be seen when there is NO other light polluting the sky. Out there there is no other light at night other than stars and moon. WOW! Another amazing feature of the sky is the depth of blue that surrounds you above... so blue you might think your swimming or that even you can touch the void ...

This is one of the most amazing places I have witnessed in the World - Uluru, the Red Center, Ayers Rock: it has a power that has to be experienced to believe...and maybe to understand. Since 1978 when I reviewed my first National Geographic I have wanted to come here. Its beautiful, powerful, dramatic: it is the center of a hugh island, supports the blue roof of the world as there is nothing higher for 1000km and is majestic in its red dramatic desert beauty. ...

Melbourne - fun place to visit because I have two+ awsome friends there - James (Oldman Pearse) and wife Pip, and Lisa (Boden). Was fabulos to see James and his pregnant chica, work with him in the garden and have the BEST marsbar cake in the world!!! In a suburb called Yarroville... its worth the excursion, especially for breakfast... now thats a way to start a morning!!! Visited the Fairy Penguin Colony, what an amusement park DON'T GO.
