as far as first days go as a chalet host I think that went pretty well?..... Half the guests arrived at around 4:30ish and we had prepared a birthday cake for Michelle. Everyone was really impressed which set us off in the right direction. The other half of the guests had yet to arrive so we served dinner. After clearing the starter the rest of the guests arrived and plunged the Ruby into chaos. However we managed to sort it out through the art of conversation and all worked out well. Also our kitchen we have decided is stupid!!!! Down at the oven end all the walls are metal and attached to the oven so the entire place becomes sweltering and if you touch anything you gain a nice burn, plenty of which we already have!!
