Woah! I have arrived in Auckland after THE most uncomfortable experience of my life, but atleast I am here. Air New Zealand is an airline I would highly recommend though, aeroplane food was actually very enjoyable and the free kiwi wines and beers, well who's to complain hey!! Luckily on my way out i had an aisle seat with nobody next to me, room to strecth. On the second part of the trip from LA to Auckland i did, only an 8 year old lad so i baggsied all of his leg room. I wasn't really a fan of the peep show before i left, but after watching all the second series, im quite the fan now. Good film selection, Great escape Dad, would have been in your element and West side story for you Mum. Oh yeah the picture for this blog i didn't take, but i have been up the sky tower today, and the views are amazing, lots of photos taken already, jsut don't have my USB cord on me right now, will add soon i promise. Anyway on arrival i took a shuttle bus into Auckland, which dropped me outside my hostel, although i wass 6 hours too early for check-in so i managed to drop my bag off and come out and explore. What a mistake not to change though, hoody, jeans and large rucksack in 23 degrees isn't much fun, do need a bit of a shower now, but you don't want to know that. Hostel looks lovely, spending the next 4 nights there and I have already spotted 3 more hostels around the centre, so I will go enquire tomorrow about them. Picked up lots of leaflets on bus tours so will look into those aswell. Gosh it's so exciting, I think it's only the adrenaline that's keeping me awake.
