Today we thought we would go on a hike on the Mist Trail to see Vernall Fall which was approx 3 miles round trip. We thought, this will be easy. We then found out that this was described as a strenuous hike and it was. The elevation was 4500ft - 5500ft up rocky mountains and every now and then seeing posters for missing people made it more interesting. We finally made it to vernal fall and it was amazing. We then wanted to hike back down the mountains but then got told we have to go another way down as there is a obstruction going back down. So we had to go even Higher now to go back down and ended up doing 4.2 miles round trip instead of 3. Even though after it we were very tired, it was still good to do. After this we grabbed some lunch at a Mexican then headed to the river where the water came from the mountains. Me and nick went for a dip and it was absolutly freezing but was another part of the holiday. Then went back for dinner and an Early night as an early start to San Francisco in the morning
