Hi B, I am amazed to see a whole new photo section without any fish in it! It looks like you are having a fab time. Things have been really busy here, we had my diploma day on Friday which went really well. Well lets just say that we all enjoyed a drop of wine even Nan! I then stayed down until Sunday morning spending time with the girls. Going out for Gramps birthday was good fun, everybody is looking forward until you and Ian get home and the whole family will be together!! As barb said in her message Nicky and I have been voted project managers for family on tour so I am extremely excited about that!
I am off to France on Sunday with work which should be different I just hope that the whether will be good! I will leave you with the best news off all that Man U have won the league (take that Chelsea! ha ha)
Miss you loads. Take care

Lovely photos Ben - you look like you're having a ball!!
I'm pleased to report no rounders yesterday - it was rather cold and so we had our supper picnic in your Mum's conservatory. Paul had brought the rounders bat but we only had a large scotch egg for throwing so it was never really an option!!! THere was a good breeze for kite flying though, and both Paul and Nicholas had kites with them which was fun. The little boys were all fantastic and loved the animals and the train and the playground. Matthew is so good on his feet now and the twins were just stars as usual. We went to see the crocodiles and thought of you! A Mary had a sore back so she was glad to be pushed around in a chair - it wasn't a trendy three wheeler like Matthew's though! Gramp had a good time as did we all but we had to wait to be back in Amberley before he could blow out any candles as it was a bit breezy for that when we had our picnic. Young Chris is in to photography at the moment and took 500 photos so there'll be plenty for you to look at!!
We're busy making plans for our camping trip in September-we've put Nicky and Jen in charge of organising it all and were copunting up the number of tents we'd have. We thought you might prefer to have your swag under the stars but it could be a bit chilly.......
Bank holiday weekend here so we're all relaxed. Have just skyped Ian who has run out of money but is hanging on in there. He's talking about doing a basic dive course in Napier - that's if he gets the job in Burger King or his folks send out an advance!!! It's good to talk to him and he can see us but we can't see him which is probably just as well. We went to see Spiderman III on Saturday which was all good fun and Chris got his forms from St Peter's so it looks like they're expecting him!
I'm doing a kayaking course next weekend so I hope we get the warmer weather back soon!
Missed you loads yesterday but glad you're still having such a lot of fun. Lots of love from us all xxxxx
Ben
i have added some more photos Anzac day
Ben
Hello everyone hope that your all well. i have been been doing alot of diving recently i did my photography specialty course at the weekend which was a little wierd as i have been helping taking courses not going on them. We have another busy week ahead with plenty of socialising then it not long till i go to Cairns then it won't be long till Ian comes out. That will be good to see him and catch up on what he has been up to over a beer or two. Then when he gets here i only have a week left till i come home.
We have a few things planned they are taking me to see Cronulla sharks play rugby on friday. We are then planning to to go to the hunter valley for a few days.
How was the weekend for you all did the twins have fun with all the animals?

Hi Ben,
Hope you're keeping well and working hard! We are so looking forward to seeing you again and are counting down the weeks now that we're in May.
Had a brilliant time at Jenny and Joe's - they were really excellent hosts and there was plenty of room for us all in the flat. The Twins were beautifully behaved as usual and only put one little toe out over the balcony. We're really looking forward to all being at Burford on Sunday and can't wait to see the boys' faces when they are looking at the animals. I'd best start thinking about picnic food as it is already Friday again and the weekend is upon us.
We had a lovely meal at the Weighbridge for Gramp's actual birthday on Wednesday and we bought him a digital picture frame. Kev went up there last night to help him set it up and he seems pleased. We were saying how we like the slide show option they've introduced on the site. It makes your underwater shots particularly smooth.
Will finish by sending lots of love as usual. xxxxxxx

Hello everyone just had a mad Anzac day we finally all had the day off together and the whole group of us went into the city to the rocks to play two up.Two up is a traditional game played with 3 coins they are tossed up in the air and and people bet against each other on weather its going to be heads or tails. There was a great atmosphere around the city and we had a great day and night.
Diving this weekend but i don't think its going to be very good due to the amount of rain that we have had over the last few days.

Hi Ben, Thanks so much for the postcard. Couldn't believe it, I was checking your photos one day and the postcard was on the doorstep the next. Had to show Chris the photo of the postbox as he thought I was mad. Thanks for thinking of us. All the other photos are very impressive too. I have just started a course at Stroud College (the new one) on digital cameras and photoshop! Think I might be a little out of my depth but will keep trying. Nicky's big day yesterday - the opening of the college - also very impressive! Lots of coverage in the local press (including pictures of Nicky) so she is pleased. What is next on the agenda for you?

Hi Ben,
I think Ian means June 19th as they actually fly back to the UK on July 19th! What are you doing for ANZAC day? - partying no doubt!!
It's finally started raining here and there are some very thirsty gardens. Makes it a bit chillier though!
Take care, lots of love xxxx
Ian
Hey Ben, How are you doing? looks like your having an awesome time. It must be pretty cool being bale to say that you are a dive master with a specialism in sharks, it has a nice ring to it! Mum was saying there was a strong possibility that you would still be in Oz when we come over, would be really good to catchup if you were. We get out on the 19th July and will probably stay in sydney for about 5 nights or so. things are going well out here, the rugby is getting better and better, we're getting stronger each game. And apparently one of our starting props for the mens team has had some interest from the All Blacks! hence the fact that i'm not really playing for them, but i think its justified haha. Anyway best go, speak soon xx

It's so cool looking at the photos of you writing and posting the cards and then to actually see one of them in real life!!! I showed Gramp the photos and he was very impressed! Had major problems posting the last message but the helpdesk were very helpful and discovered a bug at their end so I'm confident this will post on the first attempt.
Not really up to much - gardening and so on. Lots of love xxx
