Two lovely phone calls have made my day, but also made me realise how much I miss you. So far the day has been OK and I am just about to go home now and take Jacko out for a walk. The weather was a bit 'iffy' ealier but it is sunny now. Ben -the picture of the shark that you sent me has been the talking point of the day and one little boy came into my office to see it -he was amazed-you are quite right to be proud of it.
Jennyand Joe I am pleased that you have managed to book the bridge walk-I hope the weather will be good for you.
I don't think anyone will be coming to see me this evening -or if they do they will not be bringing their purses!!
Love to you all Mxxxxxxx
Nicky
Please please please can we have some more photos!!

I was asked a few questions and did not get around to answering them;
A swag is a roll up bed that is in a canvas cover that you just unroll wherever you are and just go to sleep.
The snake was a Amethystine python they are not venomous they are a constrictor and they can get alot bigger that the 3.5m-4m one that I saw.
The west wing! is a container behind the croc tent. Due to the wet seasons they are not able to stay there from November- April so everything is taken away, the tent is taken down the caravan is taken away and the containers loaded up. Thats why they use the containers a room for quests and we just nicknamed i one night after a few beers.
Gun shot is a creek crossing that is on the telegraph track from Cairns to Cape York. It is one of the most challenging 4WD tracks in Australia and Gunshot is one of the most extream bits and nobody took it on the week before I did it.

Happy Birthday Mum! I hope you have a wonderful day. lots of love always Jen xx
Hi Everyone, We are really glad that you had a good time in London. I can't wait to hear all about it. We are in Brisbane at the moment getting are van checked for the last bit of our trip. We went to Australia zoo yesterday and got to hold some Koalas and saw the crocodile display. Tonight we are hoping to get down to Byron bay but the weather is a bit to cold for sitting out on the beach (cloudy and trying to rain!)
We have managed to book walking over the Sydney harbour bridge for the Sunday before we fly home on the Monday.
Looking forward to seeing you soon Ben and everyone else not long after.
Lots of love Jen and Joe

Hi Ben - so glad to hear that you are still having great fun with the diving - not so sure about the dancing though! On TV as well! Strictly Come Dancing eat you heart out! Good Luck with the sponsors. Had a great time in London, A Mary and Gramp enjoyed the sights and the company - although Mum did have a rather early morning cup of tea! Took the opened top bus to the The Eye, did the river boat cruise,St Pauls,Covent garden and even some shopping at Marble Arch - Gramp foiled a would be pick pocket as we getting off the bus at Paddington - so all very exciting!
Hi Jenny and Joe
So glad you enjoyed Fraser Island - you send Nicky into a daydream everytime she reads about your journey down the east coast! How is the Wicked camper? Make sure you take a photo for us! Hope you're trying out some new camp meals ready for our 'tour' next year!!
Have fun and take care of yourselves - all of you!! Love to you all from all the gang.
Ben
Hello everyone glad to here that you all had a good weekend in London. I have just got back from a weekend away with the dive club, off diving with seals. It was great they were so fast and agile they were hard to watch. We also saw dolphins and whales it was a realy good weekend.

Hello everyone,
Lovely to hear your news as always. We all made it back from the Smoke in one piece and a hilarious time was had by all. There was one dodgy moment when we didn't think the Thomas' were going to get their Full English but luckily Auntie Christine sorted it and the crisis was averted! We had fantastic weather and the train was on time etc so all in all it was a really good weekend. We even took a photo of some memorable food!!!
Have just spent an hour or so at the Rose and Crown with Chris as Kevin is playing badminton and it was the only way we were going to see anything of Ian this evening. He had a reasonable time in Edinburgh and starts his new job tomorrow at 8am so there hasn't been much time to chat. missing you all! Lots of love.xxxx

Hi everybody!
It is so lovely to read all the gossip! We are in Noosa at the moment which is a lovely place (a bit to good for shopping!) We have just got back from going to Fraser island. It was amazing and Joe is now an expert 4x4 driver (or so he thinks!). We managed to see hump back whales and dolphins of Indian head on the Island. Breath taking!
Before Fraser Island we went to Eungella National park and spotted two platypuses! Tomorrow we are hoping to go to Australia zoo just north of Brisbane. I hope that everybody had a wonderfull time in London.
Really looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Lots of Love Jen and Joe xx

I'm sure collecting sponsorship is over and above the call of duty when you are not even in the country, but we'll see what we can do-all readers please note!
Sounds like you are still busy Ben but have you found a job? The weekend sounds fun and I am looking forward to seeing some pictures of seals.
Jenny and Jo how is the driving going? Hope you are finding plenty to see and do. I am starting to think of the weekend in London. I need to pack tonight because we are out on Friday evening and it is an early start on Saturday. I have got an INSET day tomorrow in Hucclecote-all the staff from 7 schools learning about creative curriculum-sounds good doesn't it!!!
Jacko is not great. The vet thought he was probably OK and suggested we start and increase the exercise but that same afternoon he was limping again. Today he seems a bit better, so we will see how he goes-but still no shooting.
Take care everyone-lots of love Mxxxx

Hi Ben, Great to hear your news as always. Have a lovely weekend - It sounds as if you'll have a great time. We'll think of you when we're in London i'm sure! Pity we won't be seeing any seals. I put the heating on here for the first time this evening and have looked out my thermals - lucky you getting warmer weather. Lots of lovexxxx
