Hi Ben, hope the move has gone ok - we've been missing the messages!
Kev's watching the rugby on telly at the moment and Ireland seem to be beating Australia!! We've had a good day here as well with Chris' team annihilating Minchinhampton this morning and Ian's beating Dursley this afternoon. In between we had Gramp and Auntie Mary for a quick stew. It was lovely to see them.
Lilla Gazzard 'phoned from Auckland this morning - she says it's got less shops than Cheltenham. They're having a fantastic time and are sending Ian info on things he must do in Fiji. They're in NZ for Christmas now and move on to Australia in the New Year. Saw Jack with the shooters the other morning - Bob and Lindsey are getting one of Paul Reynolds' black Lab pups so we'll have a Jack look alike on Tinkley Corner.
Darren is selling the Rose and Crown to concentrate on Crown Catering but he said he'd keep Ian on so we'll see what happens.
Hope the diving is going well - take care, lots of love from all of us xxxxx
Ben
hello everyone we are moving so there may not be many messages for a day or two but i will update with a load of photos as soon as possible.
Mum
Hi Ben. I have not had time to look at the website for a while. It is nice to read all the messages-especially from Jill, Barry and Ian. I t would be a shame if you miss Ian but it also makes me quite happy to think that you could be home. We miss you!
Life this week has been really busy following a lovely weekend. We were lucky with the weather and walking around London was beautiful. It was strange to be in the same place so soon after 'family on tour'-as I passed Garfunkless I felt a bit sad that we weren't all there-if you know what I mean!.
Today has been one long round of meetings-four meetings starting at 9.00am and finishing at 7.00pm-my head is aching from trying to concentrate, anyway it was nice to come home to Dad's cooking and a cup of tea! Your Dad is still 'under the weather' and had to go back to the doctor yesterday-hopefully they have sorted him out now.
Pleased to hear that you have moved -it will give you a lot more space. How many more dive exams have you got? Surely there can't be too many more now. The weeks seem to be rocketing past and we have started to practice christmas plays at school! I saw very little of Jen at the weekend but she seems to be doing well. I am looking forward to catching up with her at the weekend. Speak to you Sunday-Lots of love Mum
Ben
Well done Ian sounds great mate you must be very excited, not sure about your timing though i may not be here.
Your right about the oz experience though so you had better get doing some serious training with the shooting crowd!
Have you sorted out any rugby?
Keep working hard mate it will all be worth it.
Ian
Hey Ben, how you doing mate? Got ticket confirmation through this morning so its all going ahead now. Took your advice and went for a full month in Oz, and no Tahiti anymore a week in Fiji instead! Arriving in Sydney on the 19th June and will stay there for a couple of days, then off on the oz experience! 3 and a half weeks of alcohol fueled fun on a bus!! You still going to be out there then? would be really good to see you. If not you could always pop down to New-Z if you get the chance? Not much going on here, just dogging it out with work, keep imagining those sunny beaches everytime i'm told to dig another hole! Also serving at the bar on a friday night has become a new experience with the shoots, very amusing however when by about 10 o'clock the songs start blaring out. Back into the county squad this season which will be good experience for facing the Kiwi's, going to need it judging by sundays performance as well! Anyway mate hope everything is still going well and i will chat to you soon.
Ian xx

Hi Ben -as you say, just starting another week at our desks - but always have your news to look forward to! I guess you're not having to spend much on clothes as you seem to be always in a diving suit! Can't imagine spending two hours in the water let alone 7. Glad you're having such a brilliant time. Is the weather warming up yet? Not too much to report here. Shoots going well - perfect weather - the Autumn colours are amazing. Had a meal out with Chris D on Saturday at Fostons Ash,he was celebrating a big birthday. Steve came to lunch yesterday as Emma had gone to Italy for a few days with Matthew. Jo changing her job and starting with a private practice in January. Nicky absolutely snowed under with work - but seems to be really enjoying the new job. Gramp came to supper in the week top watch for football with Chris and is in good form. Think about you lots Ben. Take care.

Hi Ben! Kev, Barb and Chris came down to see us over the weekend and gave us your web address, so we have been looking at all your adventures. Lucky you! We hope you and Ian manage to get some time together when he comes over. It won't be all that long now!! Chris showed us his sailing certificate - I expect you will have to take a trip on the lake with him when you return!! The picture of the shark was quite impressive! Will contact you again soon. All the best. Jill and Barry.
Ben
