Not been doing much in Melbourne, mainly because here in St Kilda it's far enough from the centre to be quiet enough to chill out. Well I have finally made it to Melbourne, and a new destination on my little map. Just a quick one to say I got here safely... the hostel is nice, quite similar to Wake Up! in Sydney. Really hot and sunny here, it was cold and cloudy in Sydney when I left. Feeling really tired so off to bed soon - had a big night last night (I didn't get in until 7.30am and then only slept for an hour!) Wow, Happy New Year was amazing, my favourite one so far. It was different to what I was expecting (mainly because we had to get there so early), but the fireworks were brilliant. We got together in the apartment at about 2pm and started drinking because we couldn't be certain that we could drink at the fireworks... then we walked up to Circular Quay at about 4 but it was quite busy and the other people in the apartment wanted to try to get in at Opera House....
