Ola Amigos, Apologies for not updating you all in a little while, but after an arduous 16 hour bus ride last night, we have arrived in Santa Cruz and have found a nice quiet hotel to chill! Well since the Inca trail report, seems like an age ago now, we have been so busy and done so much. From finishing the Inca trail we stayed overnight in Aguas Calientes, then travelled back to Cusco, from there we caught an overnight bus to Arequipa, from there to the Colca C...

Ola amigos, We did it! Yes that´s right we have successfully completed the 4-day 49km Inka trail and it was amazing! We have uploaded all of our photos so you can see what sights we saw along the way and we´ll write a more detailed blog in a few days to let you know how it went...to be continued! Finally arrived into Cusco after our taxing 50 minute flight from Lima after being greeted with amazing views over the Andes from the plane window. Cusco already seems so different from Lima in terms of the climate, arcitechture and most spectacularly of all the views! Both suffered with the symptoms of altitude sickness yesterday as the city of Cusco sits at an impressive 3500m above sea level. So...benni still hasnt got the photos sorted, although he is trying very hard...hence it is me writing the blog again! Left Lima yesterday on a local bus, 4 and a half hours later, plus a crazy taxi ride for 80p, we arrived in the desert oasis of Huacachina! You could never believe a place existed like this...unbelievable sand dunes as far as the eye can see, and a minature village right in the middle...very bizarre! Decided to have a little wonder around the lag...
