We landed this morning in our next country - Australia!
Unfortuently we can only do a couple of days so, Sydney is our first stop.
We couldn't check into our hostel until the afternoon so we grabbed some food and took a walk to Sydney Opera House. This was a really nice start to our short time in the city, as we walked between some buildings and the harbour bridge and opera house open out in front if us! We also checked prices for a trip to Toronga Zoo as this is our plan for tomorrow. Feeling tiered and ready to have a chill we headed back, this time we headed back through the botanical gardens which were really nice and made you forget you were in the centre of a city!
Finally back we dropped our bags and headed out to grab some food from the local shop - we headed back and ended up meeting our friend Judy at the bar below our hostel - we had a few beers and discussed our plans for New Zealand. Now feeling ready for Ed we headed up and got some sleep! What a first day!
