Flight was delayed when got into dubai so had 6 hours not 3, ended up leaving my luggage in Kuala Lumpur, but sent it on the following day. Luckily had some really nice people next to me on plane one was a monk, another an iraqi lecturer in international business and a women off to oz to do business that knew all of the madness band and laods of old famous people.

Spent most of this week just chilling in Penang by the pool (nice knowing I can wake up every day with the sun shining - but there is a definate need for air con and a fan) and at the beach, Batu Ferringhi, at the beach bar. This is where the majority of the pictures are from.

Spent most night just chilling drinking some decent beer Skol get it for about 32Rm (5$, for a bucket - so a pound a bottle!), tiger beer is stupidly cheap here also - unliek Corona or Sol...

Headed up teh Kek Lok Si in the middle of the week was a nice Buddist temple in the middle of the island, more of a tourist attraction than a local temple tho. Got some good pictures up there and tried Durian for the first and last time. This thing stank like off chicken and mash potato, supposedly like a lychee it was more like snot.

Next week I think is going to be much of the same, off to Langkawi in about 2 weekends time and hoping to try and get down to Singapore for a weekend.

Goods good, chillings good, drinks good. So yeh, very nice first week. Just trying to get my shacks booked for Vietnam, Cambodia and Thialand, especially for the Full Moon on the 6th of August :)
