G'day (sorry)

A very quick blog as we are running out of time on the internet. We are now in a lovely hostel in Melbourne, the flight over from Perth was fine... our last nights in Perth were good and included a memorable night of Kareoke (is that how you spell it?). Among our greatest hits were Bohemian Rhapsody and YMCA... we and a few other brits did england proud with some great singing/shouting.

Today we marched all over Melbourne City Centre taking in a few tourist thingmys including Captain Cook's cottage (some of you may remember a memorable performace when yours truly was cast as the aforementioned Captain in a play at primary school....I digress..) and federation square + parliament and treasury gardens. We then ate at pizza hut (culture vultures)

Tmorrow we are off to the beaches of St Kilda and after three days there we may be heading up to Sydney... who knows....

As an aside- both Perth and Melbourne are full of flies which follow you down the street and climb in your ears. Sarah has taken to wearing ear muffs in 30C heat.
