Waking up today I am sad to say I am still not feeling so good:( we head down to breakfast and am hoping they have some nice comforting porridge...sadly no. Although I should be impressed about the rare eggs on display. Have a quick call to dad before hitting the road for a big, 9hr driving day to Vienna Austria! The landscape is just magical as we leave Croatia, and my favorite place on the trip thus far. We drive though Slovenia (a little county of only 2million as apparently doing really well under the EU union! Yay!). The landscape just continue to became more and more enchanting as we drive, as impossible as it seems! The most densely forested region in Europe, beautifully free fur tree cover rocky mountains, with crystal clear steams winding their way through gorges. It really is straight out of a Hans Christian Anderson tale. We stop of at a truck stop and although me and Troy know better by now, give in and pay the over priced bill of €30 for a pretty average schnitzel. But hey, we're in Austria! We finally arrive at our hotel about 5 and its quite huge, with sports teams and Japanese tourist taking over the lobby space. We organize our bathtub full of washing, before heading out to a fare in Prada! Its from the 1800s and fits the style of the city perfectly. I couldn't believe the ancient fairs-wheel was still in operation, so gave it a wide birth in case of collapse! It was so much fun to spend the night there though! We go on a roller coaster where we are laying down face first, super man style, which was brilliant! Troy and a few others go on gokarts and then on the classic twister ride which was fun:) we wonder around, happily taking in the atmosphere before having a yum yum dinner of chicken noodles and pork dumplings. Very Austrian we know! We finish off the night with a crazily fun round of dodgem cars:) Troy slammed his knee into the steering wheel (it always happens to someone) but it was a great laugh). Starting to feel pretty tiered and in need of more medicine, we clamber back into the coach and doze on the way back. I forget we have to hang out, and rinse all our washing, but Troy is very nice and does most of it he he he. Going to bed now and looking forward to exploring the city tomorrow, and not have to get back on the coach for a while!
