It began yesterday evening: After having a delicious meal (Marlin again) at Oistins Fish Fry (every Friday there is a big crowd waiting to get the best grilled fish of Barbados), we decided to throw a short look at a car for sale I (Bernd) found on the newspaper - a 1996 Mitsubishi L200 Pickup Doublecab for 7500 BD$ (est. 2600 EUR) - a really BIG car! Another beautiful Sunday at one of our favourite beaches after a real stressy week - we really deserved it!! Weather was nice though it was quite cloudy, but we didn't experience the storm which obviously hit Fitts Village (see photoalbum). Nothing more to say, it was a very relaxing Sunday in our new homecountry (..and finally we even got some tan)!

My day started with working, and when I was driving home, I was so hungry and decided to drive down to Dover Beach to grab a delicious Maccharoni Pie, but unfortunately it began to rain heavily...the roads were completely under water, about 30 cm high, thanks god we have a Jeep ;) Raining in Barbados really is completely different because when it is raining, then it is pouring down, you can´t believe. And within 30 mins, the roads are like small rivers. So...

Today for me (Belinda) was a normal working day, getting up quite early, jumpin in de car at 7.35 am, stuckin' in de traffic jam on de hiway, and arrivin' de work at 8.35 am. But here traffic jams are fun, at the moment, I really love my life here: driving on de coastal road, enjoying the nice ocean view with the rising sun, smellin' de ocean breeze and listenin' to some cool music in de cd player. Really great start for de day! I just love it! I worked in my air...
