Besos
hey, We met up with our group last night. Its kind of a mixed age group ranging from about 20-60. It seems like a good mix tho. Last night we went to Khao san, which is the main busy backpackers area with bars, clubs and cheap drinks etc. Even the famous ping pong show!!!! We just went for a meal tho!! The tour guide is from Australia and he seems like a good chap. Today we went to the wat temple to see the largest lying budha in the world. It is painted gold and it really is quite impressive!!, but hey you will see the photos for yourself soon enough! We also went for a boat trip along the local river. We stopped at one point where we could feed cat fish. It is supposed to be good luck. I have filmed it so you can see just how many cat fish there were. I was abit gobsmacked!!! Tonight we head to the north of Thailand to Chiang Main. we are travelling by night train, but its only 12 hours, so should be a walk in the park!!!! seen as were used to 24hrs! Im not happy at the moment as im sitting in an internet cafe because we cant get wireless in our hotel!!!!!!! GRRR!
