Safe and well in NZ finally after VERY long journey. Not too many photos to upload, so we'll probably do that in about a week. Had lovely day in sunny and very pretty (very English actually) Christchurch yesterday, with very mellow strolls through the town and the botanical gardens (which reminded us of clyne) and a few beers (and lovely sauv blanc from vineyard I am determined to visit) on street side cafes. Obviously needed some rest though, as after a day wandering around the town, went back to hotel for "quick nap" and woke up again at 7am.

After beautiful breakfast, we're feeling fresh as daisies now though, so off to Oamuru for some penguin watching...
