G'day Peeps!! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm good, quite tired as had hectic couple of days. As you know, yesterday was 'The Big Day' in terms of going to Neighbours! We got picked up at 8.30am and then took a minibus to see Erinsborough High School and Ramsey Street. The school wasn't much to see but the street was cool. Its so much smaller than on tv! We had loads of pics done so will put them on the site when I get home as cant put any on over here. In the evening we went to a pub called the Elephant and Wheelbarrow which is where they have the neighbours night. We had a meal there first which was really nice and very filling, was good to eat something over than pasta! lol The neighbours night was pretty good. You get put on tables which then form your 'team' for the quiz. We were on a table with 2 other girls and 4 guys. Basically the introduced the stars who we were going to meet (Dylan, Elle and 'The Legend' that is Harold Bishop) and then the stars moved round the tables so you could have a photo with them (tho Harold was a bit of a diva and we had to go to him in his own room...!) then whilst that was going on they had a general knowledge quiz plus singing and dancing competitions to win various prizes. We didn't win the quiz, didn't even come in the top 5 lol (This is despite the fact that one of our members insisted he knew everything so obviously the blame is on him :0P) We then got the tram back to the hostel at around midnight. It was a good night. We have now met our other room mate, hes from scotland. So we've spent quite a few nights talking to him until the early hours. Hes been in melbourne for 2 months so has been giving us tips of where to go and for others places in Oz which has been really useful. Today we got picked up at 7.30am (painful!) and went for our day tour of the Great Ocean Road. It was a really good day. We made various stops along the way including several beaches, the 12 apostles (not sure how to spell it!) and we even saw loads of wild koalas whilst we had lunch so that was really cool. We got back at 8pm so was a very tiring day. Tomorrow we might go to the aquarium but going to see what the weather is like as might go up the rialto tower if its clear. Then on thursday we have got an overnight train to sydney so during the day we might go to the cinema. Really missing everyone, am liking all the messages! Take care xxxxxx
