Arrived in Melbourne after a horrible bumpy flight on the 3rd January. Staying here for the next few days. This was our last stop before our road trip in the campervan along the Great Ocean Road.

We stayed in a place called Home Travellers Motel in St Kilda, the nasty little beach suberb in Melbourne. It was full of drunks and flies!

Whilst staying in Melbourne we went into the city a couple of times on the trams, why don't Oxford have trams?!

One day we went on a trip to Phillip Island to see the one of the world smallest penguin specie arrive in their 'rafts' (a pod of penguins) on the beach and see them parade along the beach to escape from any predators that could get them. There were thousands of them!

Whilst staying in Melbourne, it wouldn't be worth it without heading to Ramsay Street to check out the Neighbours set. I got to have a picture taken with Janelle from Neighbours and a picture of me at Erinborough High. The street is tiny too! I was gutted as I wanted to meet the gorgeous Karl Kennedy but he wasn't around...:o(

Our last 2 nights in Melbourne was spent in the campervan preapring our road trip. We stayed at a lovely caravan site in the suburbs of Melbourne before heading on out long journey along the Great Ocean Road to Kangaroo Island and Adelaide.
