We arrived safe and sound to Brisbane on Wednesday evening. Some older guy yelled out hello you two, not really knowing who on earth would know us I turned around to find cousin Russ!! Murray picked us up and we all had a nice family dinner celebrating Russell's birthday and we crashed the night there. We are now staying in a backpacker called 'somewhere to stay' which is in west end - rough part of Brisbane I think with a few things we have scene while wondering around. Backpackers is very basic feels like we are school camp again with shared dorms shared bathrooms and a communal kitchen. All sorts of accents fill the place which is really cool. Brisbane festival is on this month so we watched a light show at south bank last night which was fantastic, while cooking our sausages on the public BBQ. Beautiful sunny day here today do we are going to spend the day at the man made beaches at south bank swimming and bathing. Everything here is all good. Bye for now, Greg and Bec x
