Let the travels begin!

So our trip commences with the red eye from Perth to Sydney, a 6-hour wait in Qantas Club, followed by the marathon Sydney to LA flight. Amazingly both flights were on time, we slept well (or well enough), and our transit thru LA was smooth & speedy. We arrived with plenty of time for our final flight, LA to Vancouver, and were treated to exit row seats from which to enjoy views of the Rockies.

We arrived tired, but excited, in Vancouver. A short Skytrain ride to the city & then we were at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. No rest for the wicked thou - straight back out again to grab some dinner & get our first view of the city!
