we went for a walk today on the swan river however the waether must have caught up with us from the uk as we had showers and the temp was frezzing it hit below 20degrees! yuck. had a stroll round the city centre again past a few places we recognised. the big issue guys are friendly here one made a funi comment about bekis very touristic green auzzie cap with a kangaroo crossing sign on. bargin at $2. beki has picked a habit of walking in circles which is really annoyin in every city we have been in we have walked in at least one circle! ( i blame it on steves map reading skills...) women......... hey!! ANYWAY.... we had a wkd nigt out after our circular tour of perth. the hostel bused us to the mustang where we got a BBQ a free drink entry into grand prize draw for $100 which we dnt win... booo and also a pool tournament in which steve played some right arrogant aussie nobheads who made up the rules as they went along i didnt want to argue too much tho as they were pretty big bruces!!! no bitterness whatso ever...i did win one game tho. beki got knoacked out in the 1st round thought potted 3 balls fair play even though one was the white....oh dear and to top it all off the hostel put a tab behind the bar for us so all our drinks that night were free!. was a wkd night shame we had to ge tup so early in the morning....
