Hey Guys - Day 2 of the adventure begins!

We have had the worst night sleep after one of the longest days on recors! We spent all sunday and monday traveling to Singapore and when we got here, suprise suprise, it was raining! anyway, last night when we got into the hostel, we went up chnaged and showered and then went for a stroll around Little India (its not really that little) and went on a hunt to find Raffles Hotel. This took us a good 3 hours (to do all of it - not just to find Raffles!) and by this time we had not found Raffles so decided to give up and go home to bed!

BTW looking at the map after, we discovered taht if we had walked a further 200 metres we would have been at the hotel but we were too tired to care!

The view from the balcony on the roof top is amazing - I have tried to take some pictures and will upload them later.

Today we are off to see Singapore Zoo - and those monkey enthusiasts amongst you will be pleased to know that they are free range monkeys (ie they get to go where the hell they want and we get to pat them - Claire I know you will very excited about this!) Anyway the bus leaves in 15 minutes so we better go and get ready but we will try and put up some pics and post another blog.
