hello! this will probobly be the last blog for you all as we are at the airport!.....sob sob sob. but i will fill you in our last few days before bangkok. when we finally dragged oursleves from koh pangyang we headed on a boat to koh toa. here we stayed very near the jungle in a quiet cove where we snorkled lots and i sunbathed whilst george dug the biggest hole ive ever seen. after a nice 3 days here we booked onto the boat back to bangkok. i am going to struggle to put into words how bad that boat journeywas. Before that day i had never really had travel sickness issues. we set off and the thais at the port were laughing and handing out lifejackets..we thought nothing of it and bluntly refused them as after all we are hardcore and george kept on repeating "son of a sailor" over and over! we snuckinto the vip area of the boat whichisnt as good as it sounds it just means that you have a seat with padding as opposed to a plastic chair. anyway there we are sitting illegally in our vip area quite happy preparing for our 4 our journey. when we setoff i began to realise why the thai boatmen were laughing in such a knowing way. we headed straight into a strorm. the boat was swinging from left to right and flying (literally im not exagerating) into the air and crashing down. people were screaming from the plastic chair area below us (it musthave been so rough down there!). george led the men in the vip area to yell out like a cowboy everytime we flew up. and i turned green very green. it was horrible. i actually thought iwas going to die. after a while the boat men began handing out sick bags and mine was clasped the entire time! luckily i did not need to use it although it took a lot of willpower to stop the vom! anyway eventually we arrived it was most comical to watch all the seasick tourists struggling down the plank of wood to the port with enormous backbacks! next we had a 7 hour bus ride. when we eventually arrived in bangkok at 5.30 am we were exhausted! however next day we set about with the great task of shopping. my backpack is squished full of 7 pairs of crocs for you croc loving crazies awaiting them yes i have them all! i dragged george round the market for two whole days he was a tad grumpy! but then he had a suit made and he perked up lots!! we left bangkok for our flight at 5pm but when we arrived there had been a mix up with our flight time and we were stranded here for...7 hours! i had a mini fit at the thought of 7 hours of scrabble and rummy followed by a 13 hour flight no thanks! when i got the chance i launched into my unsatisfied customer rant at a poor shrilanken women! she eventually gave in and upgraded us and also we are in the vip lounge as we speak!!! it is luxery to the max! free alcahol, free cakes, free crust free sandwiches (im serious they are crust free!), free internet! all freeeeee! we still have the 13 hours ahead of us and 7 hours of boredom behind us but somhow it dosnt feel so bad now that we have been treated like rich people in our "scabby ive been travelling for weeks and my feet are dirty clothes!" so yes that is us up till now our trip is almost over and we are sad but exited to get home now and move into 23 yay!!!!!!!!! ok love to you all thanks for all the messages soz if youve had to endure my rants see you all soon. love beau and george who is mixing me a crazy free cocktail!!!!!
