What better way to spend September 11 than to go to the Strategic Air and Space Museum and spent most of the day looking at airplanes and rockets. It's next door to Mahoney.
Later in the afternoon we went to a driving range in the park and hit a bucket of balls. (Really dented up the bucket.)
That evening, we went to a melodrama called "The Perils of the Polls" about a hic governor who appears completely addle-brained, but turns out to be the Governator, complete with Austrian accent. When asked why he concealed his accent and true identity, he said, “Who would be so crazy to elect an Austrian-speaking governor?” We had no idea what he was talking about.
This place is nice. We're going to have to come back and spend more time.

Brudder Who in the blazes is Mitch Hedburg, and why is he so funny? Must be an inside joke. Space musem looked cool. You went to a political play? Where was this. Just like midwesterners to make fun of your govenator. When recruiting on the east coast for HP, students continuely confused Iowa with Idaho. I would get a lot of corn jokes. When I geographically educated them, I got a lot of potatoe jokes. Who even knows, outside of Iowa, the name of the person who rules Iowa. Quite a few folks know we have a cowboy named "Butch". Now there is a govenor.
Leigh Ann Fab pic!
Leigh Ann This pic is SO Aunt Barbara! Love it.
laurel brudder--an education needed for the spelling of potato & of all things living in idaho, although you are a transplant--tee hee hee!
