We ate our way through Chicago today. Now that we're so experienced with the transit system, it was a snap getting into town. Rode the tour bus around, jumped off at Millenium Park, got our free t-shirt (part of the package deal for the two-day bus tour), saw the sites there. The park is definitely worth investigating.
Took a taxi ride across town. Only took about 2.5 minutes! Had the best deep dish pizza ever at Pizzeria Uno. The crust is like a pie crust. Tomatoes only, no sauce, and the best sausage I’ve ever had (and I don’t like sausage). Yum-o. Then to Garrett Popcorn for kettle corn and cheddar cheese popcorn. Then to Hershey’s for Hershey’s bars (all free with the bus tour tickets).
We kicked the John Hancock Bldg for Shannon, but we don’t know why…
Got back to the room and got everything ready to go for a 5:30 am blast off tomorrow for (drum roll, please) Route 66! Only took two weeks to get here!

belinda Pizzera Uno? Really? Aren't there any Unos out here? It's a huge chain, just like Pizza Hut, you know. I say that Zach's is still the best deep dish ever. :)
Shannon how come the John Hancock building says "The North Face"? I think you kicked the wrong building!!
