Wow, Last day. With heavy Hearts, we woke early to pack our bags and move out of our room.
Once this was done, we met the super cool taxi driver that took us around yesterday, and he drove us back out to the Dirt biking place!
I think it was probably one of the best things I did in Morocco overall! We got our own four wheel drive bike and a tour guide that took us around the desert for 3 hours. What was even better was there was only three of us! I was the only girl and really slow compared to the others, but thats cool I stil had fun!
Because it was a desert is was even better because we could zoom over bumps and rocks and not have to worry about swerving into trees! We got to go really fast and I nearly fell off a few times! We stopped halfway through at a guest house for a drink and some food. Then back on the bikes to finish our huge race! Tim turned in a teenage boy to weelies and skids all over the place so I pretended not to know him!!
Once all this excitment was over we were dropped in the city centre and found our way to the museam of Marrakesh. Bad idea. It was very lame, one room with nothing in it! But atleast we went, felt like we needed to go since we were there for so long!
Again we got lost in the Souks on the way back to the resturant we wanted to go to for lunch and we stumbled accross a huge movie set where the director was trying to get a whole entire road to be quite! GOOD LUCK!
Once we evenutally found our way to the resturant area, again we had missed lunch. But we really wanted to go to this cafe we had seen a few times so asked someone to take us there, little did we know, he was working for the resturant next door and before we knew it we had been plonked in the baking sun in a horrible cafe terrace. After much deliberating ( I was too embarassed to leave, tim REALLY wanted too) I sprinted down stairs and tim dealt with annoying waiters who wanted us to stay!
We got to the cafe eventually and after lunch spent some time chilling out in a park nearby.!
We caught the same taxi ( with our new friend the taxi man) to the train station where we hopped on first class to Casblana, where we would be catching our plane home from. The train ride was nice except that we had no clue when to get off so I was freaking out big time! We managed to ask our non english speaking carrige buddies, who told us to get off at the right area. thank goodness!
We got a taxi out to the hotel we were in that night and although it was about 1230 am, there was still a resturant open for us to eat! yay!!
We crashed early ( really, 1 am ;))
