Ana said she'd died and gone to heaven, Alex said it was fantastic, Lesley said it was amazing, Anna said it was delectable. And Su thought it was just bloody brilliant. The Cappuccino Catamaran Tour.
We saw the Good Times catamaran moored off the beach, and walked along to the fish market to the meeting point, hoping we would have the boat to ourselves. Not a chance. Queue of tourists waiting politely and patiently up on the road. So we stayed on the beach and professionally pushed in when the inflatable roared over with Alex and Lester on board to ferry us over.
We grabbed prime position at the front on webbing stretched across the boat. Towels were laid (which promptly blew off in the wind!). Rum punches were delivered by impossibly good looking crew before we'd even set sail. It was looking promising.
Not much chance for sunbathing to calypso music tho.
At Alleynes Bay we donned flotation straps and snorkels and swam with the turtles following Lester as he fed them tuna. Just amazing. The underwater cameras came in handy: let's hope the pics come out.
Next stop was a wreck - more snorkelling - with flippers this time - amongst fish - blue stripes, yellow, all weaving in and out of the eerie ship.
Then we sped up to Cobblers Cove for more swimming in aquamarine waters and lunch on deck of macaroni cheese, fish, chicken and rice. And champagne (we had taken over the boat by now).
Our theme music of I gotta Feeling (Black Eyed Peas) got us dancing on deck.
