the following day we headed to hoi an with louise and adrian the bus trip was really long because the driver was idiot. he stoped turned around got lost and just kept pilling people into the bus. the trip was something of intrest we had 30 people on a 14 people mini bus with people squished in like sardins. the worst thing about this that vietense people eat noddles for breakfast lunch and dinner. noddles on a coach trip is not good as we found out their was 9 people sick on our bus all into bags which got thrown out of the window the only problem is not every time they go out the window (sick bomb) il leave it at that i think your get the picture.
we arrived at denag not hoi an were the driver dumped us in a bus station we were not impressed. we found a local bus that went to hoi an which was a hour trip the locals were getting on with buckets of things like fruit veg fish at one point someone got on with chickens. we arrived at hoi an and checked into a hotel the town was beautifull was a really old town with small roads all coble and stone building. we fell in love with this place it was so nice because it was the vietnese new year all the streets were decorated with lantans. The town was charming and the lanterns filled the streets. Near the river bank a display of lanterns were on show and people had adapted their culture and ideas into laterns , it was very interesting.
