Nik and Nat's Adventures
Hello Everone.
Today is our last day in Krabi, this region is so beautiful words just can't descibe. We left Bangkok on Friday and have travelled here by minibus and sleeper trains, stopping on route at various sites including the Grand Palace and River Kwai Bridge. First day we went to a beach in Krabi and had our first swim in the sea, followed by a very heavy night out on the town. Not very clever of me as woke up not remembering a thing and spent the day touring the Koh Phi Phi Islands on a speed boat with a hangover!! Still happy days. Everyday keeps getting better and better, and it really does look like the postcard, hopefully once I'm in Oz I can post some photos to show you all. Yesterday me and Nat went Kayaking through some mangroves swamps, while monkeys jumped aboad for a ride and some fruit. Got very wet as had lots of water fights, but at least I didn't managed to fall in. In the afternoon we went elephant trekking and I fell in love with an elephant called Honey. Had abit of a scare last night as our tour group were down drinking at a local bar on the coast when we heard news of an earthquake in the area, but we got to high ground, and nothing came of it, so its all good, I'm still alive!!!
I'm now off to watch the boys play footie on the beach, and get beaten by the locals.
Hope you are all well, love you!
Nikki
