Hey dudes, thought I´d post another wee update and when I say wee I mean wee coz I is not feeling too fine and dandy today and to be perfectly honest it sounds as though I´m not going to be too good within the next week....noooooooo... The reason...well, I had a mini-operation on monday. So I came to Paraguay to have an op, how great life is...lol. Had a wee mole that went a bit mental on me, went to the doc on monday morning and by monday at 6pm I was under the knife. Chop chop. So now I have a wee chunk missing out of my inner left thigh...GREAT. Yes, it was a rather interesting procedure and an amazing place for my mole to be positioned. I was s***ting myself everytime I felt the buzzing sound come near my womanly parts...it was not a pleasant sound or feeling with it moved nearer and nearer. It was well weird though seeing a piece a bit larger than a 10p coin and about 2cm thick of my body in a jar though (the mole wasn´t that big though...just the chunk of me that the doc chopped out)...she got a bit carried away really  So ye, now I canny swim for 3weeks, sunbathe...well apparently it´s prohibited for ever...f*** that...i´ll just have to use mucho sun cream. It is amusing though the new experience that one has whilst trying to have a shower and not  getting the wound wet...I´ve begun practising for Swan Lake, that´s how I feel coz I keep having to do ballet like positions whilst in the shower...I´m so going to slip and crack my skull open... Fun fun. Talk about not getting worked up either, the pathologist rang me up today saying that I couldn´t pick up my test results today coz he "wanted to do more tests"...ok, so is that a good sign or a bad sign...? Roll on tomorrow morning for them to come through. Ah dear!

  There u go my lovelies...I told u all it would be short...I is well hungry at the mo and am going to run home to fill up my wee belly...yum yum

I must say it was a very pleasant surprise to hear from you the other day on my bebo page!.....I hardly ever use the bloody thing but, as I say, it was very nice to hear from you!

It sounds like you have been having a great time over in South America(Im so jealous, I wish I could be there right now). Brazil at christmas will be ace of base....no doubt. It has always been an ambition of mine to visit Rio, its meant to be the party capital of the world, I have heard nothing but good things about it! Drinking cocktails on the copacabana beach....party on my girl.....let me know how it goes.

Hows the old weather anyway?! Over here in Scotland it has been getting more miserable by the minute you will be pleased to know!.....but at least its halloween tomorrow and there should be a few good parties on.  Everyone will be getting all rowdy and no doubt there will be a few bottles of Chateuax de Buck involved!

That apart, I have just been working away in an office and staying at home with my Maw and Paw, Im looking to move back in to the town very soon. I was going to get a flat with Beggs but his Dad Big Dave forbade it (probably for the best nevermind).

 Oh also Im heading off to Thailand for a month in February so that is something pretty epic to look forward to.....I have been there before and I simply cant wait to get back to another full moon party.!!! oh yes

Im also considering going to Japan to teach for a year in September but, as usual, everything seems to be up in the air!

Hola de Paraguay  This is a wee update for u all coz I don´t trust the computers at work and I know that sometime within the next 10/15mins the damn thing´ll crash. That´s wot u get for living in a 3rd world country!!! Poor sods that do

So the latest on my new vida...I´m actually in a mood for a rant so prepare urselves . I´ve come to the conclusion that the Paraguayans are obsessed with sex. They seriously are. I mean it´s the topic of each conversation, it ends each sentence and it´s part of their daily life. I mean...physical appearance here is well important. Mo and I thought that it was the odd 1 or 2 who were obsessed with it, but no...everyone is. Apparently one shouldn´t have fat friends coz that ´aint cool. Mo and I are told on a daily basis that we got some podge to loose. I´m sorry but the whole skeleteal look goin on here with the girls ´aint attractive...in my opinion, the Tranis are way better lokin than some of thegirls that i´ve seen. So ye...we met some folk from our block the other day and this dude Juanpi who´s name brings much amusement to a small mind like mine, well he is Mr SEx Obsessed to the max...he said to Mo and I that we´re really pretty in the face, we stand out and all...(no s*** sherlock, we´re white European amongst tanned South Americans)...well, so ye we´re apparently v.attractive in the face, but, we need to do something about our figures coz we´d be so much prettier thiner. So out comes Kris with the whole...we´re not hippos for f*** sake...back home we´re an average size, u don´t know wot fat is...and Mo...well...don´t work up Morna that´s all I say....she totally gave him the lecture of how in "our part of the world, it´s rude to say to someone that u don´t know well that they´re fat and that makes them less attractive"...so Juanpi tried to defend himself...not possible when Mornas in the debate. Anyways, so we´re sick of how one´s physical appearance is so important here...fat=no friends, thin=friends, pretty faced=work that body...f*** that! I is happy munching away. And the comments on the street...well...one of these days someonjes gona get b**** slapped by Kris...and a serious whopping if they´re in the wrong place at the wrong time. It´s almost a daily basis that someone calls out something to us. I´ve had a drunk hiccup his way through saying that my boobs were "rich"...gross...then on monday some dudes our age commented on them again whilst Mo almost hoked on her cig. Yes Marylou I know that some of my vest tops make them stand out more than they should, but it´s f***in 40degress, I´m not goin to wear a total turtle neck...god damn it...one can´t win.

Ahhh....that´s enough ranting for now. I don´t trust the comp...it´s gona crash in 2...so i´ll update u all later on this week.

Alrite guys?how?s it goin? I know, its bin a while since I last posted a message. I have good and truthful excuses?trust me. 1st, I have honestly bin well busy?starting work and moving into my flat etc. but the truth is that I have actually wrote 2 messages and when I went to post them the f***in computer died on me and trust me?I was NOT happy?NOT at all I tell u

So much has happened since I last posted a msg that I don?t know where to begin. So many comedy moments many of which a result of some stupidity or other of mine?but hey, that?s Kris for you. Apart from being chased round a colleagues house by her rat/like/poodle/dog thing who was harassing me by trying to hump my arm and anything else that he could grab on to me by?much to the amusement of Morna and NOT to mine?ooooo?I was NOT impressed AT ALL?that stupid thing?I just wanted to kick it where the sun didn?t shine. Anyways, apart from that I?ve fallen down a pot-hole which was amusing I must admit. The pavements here are so s***?there are holes everywhere and I was totally nursing a hangover and thinking of nothing else but a flat coke for my belly and?well?I fell into a pot hole as a result?it was great I tell u. Morna?s had some comedy moments as well. Like the other day. The idiot was sunbathing on our hammock on the balcony with all these soldier dudes lookin up from below?so what does she do?wave...how clever?just draw more attention to yourself why don?t u. The long and short of the story is that one of the soldiers threw a lighter through our window with his number attached to it?I pissed myself after almost having my eye knocked out by this f***in lighter flying through the room. Our daily comedy adventures involve us walking down the street being whistle out and shouted at like ?oi mamita?hola mi amor?que hermosa sos??so the blond hair, white skin thing?well it draws attention. I was even whistled at the other day even though I was sweating my arse off and smelt like a total pig?that?s so attractive!!!!  But the best of all stories is that of our new flatmate Carson.So we?ve moved into this amazing flat where rent comes to £50s a month each. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with bath and shower, a big living room, a kitchen with eating space, a maid?s room with and en-suite bathroom, 2 balconies and best of all on the 13th floor (the roof) there are 2 pools and an amazing view of the city and the river. And the flat came totally furnished. It?s so sweet. Anyways, so Morna and I live with this dude called Carson who is a 3rd yr student from Aberdeen Uni?amusing, 3 Scottish students in Paraguay what r the odds of that.

Carson. Well, this past weekend he decided to do his own thing and he went to Iguaçu which is a famous waterfall on the Brazilian and Argentinean border. So Carson goes into the national park on the Brazilian side and instead of following the track he decides to fin his own way through the forest battling it out through the trees etc. So it comes to night-fall and the Park Officials are out in their vehicles, flashlights, speaker phones etc. looking for Carson coz the parks gona close for the night. Carson runs from them. So he ends up finding some random bird watching cabin thing and spends the night in it. The next day he?s back on his monkey man mission of fighting his way through the forest?get?s tired and finds the river. So what does he do, swim, or should I say float his way down the river. He eventually gets out of the river and battles his way through the forest to find a track coz he?s decided that he can?t be arsed playing wild man anymore and just wants to leave the park. So out he comes on to a track totally sodden with forest in his hair and his clothes (his hair may I add is an afro on a daily basis?its huge)..so imagine him coming out like that and oh, he bumps into a tour and the tour guide looks at him like ?what the f***, where did this beast come from???so he called Carson over and escorted him on buggy back to the entrance, fed him and put him on a bus to Paraguay. I was a bit worried when he walked through the front door having not had a shower from his wee adventure?his rucksack and all its contents wet. But what I don?t get is?ye that was cool, but is he that dumb that he didn?t realise that there are panthers and god knows what other animal in the forest and alligators and piranhas in the river?.and leeches? I mean hello Carson, this is not a wee walk round the highlands or anything. Stupid boy

So ye. That?s some of our latest adventures.

Our life here in Paraguay?is chilled out to say the least. Morna and I work 9hrs a wk and get paid really well for it. The rest of the time we, eat, sleep and partay. With a bottle of 750ml of beer at 50p and a pack of 20 cigs at 20-40p (depending on the brand)?we?re having loads of fun

With our pound being worth quite a lot here, we?ve got loads to spend on travelling?and as we?re on a Tourist Visa, we have to leave every 3 months for 48hrs min to get a new visa. So our 1st port of call is Buenos Aires next month. Christmas we?re spending in Rio de Janeiro on an island called Ilha Grande with our 3 Canadian friends. Then we intend on making a trip to La Paz, Bolivia and hopefully to Peru. It?s like £20s return to these destinations with bus journeys of 16-24hrs. Talk about cheap! My passport?s gona be well colourful when I get home
