You may have already seen our breakfasts, WOW, Denny's must come to the UK. That was after our 30 minute walk to the strip from the Hard Rock Hotel. It was ok, but very hot, particularly on the way back at 46oC. Whilst on The Strip, we toured the Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, Bill's Gamblin Hall, Paris, City Centre and Planet Hollywood hotels and shops, walking for miles. It has to be said that we all spent the majority of the time staring in disbelief, they are incredible. We took loads of pictures and some very nice peopled offered to take our pictures too.
This afternoon we went for a drive to get our bearings and work out how to drive on the wrong side of the road, all went well thankfully! This turning right on a red light thing is a bit weird and we aren't too keen on the middle lane you use when you want to turn left but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it soon.
The pool party was flying downstairs when we got back. Paul Oakenfold was DJ'ing by the pool, I think he is quite famous, we are 7 floors up, with the speakers facing the opposite direction and I can feel the beat!!! I am not allowed to go though, the music is too loud for my sensitive ears, apparently L
Back out to dinner at Johnny Rockets, the burgers were great though rather large. Back at the hotel, the DJ seems to have finished for the day and there is a band playing now, not sure who they are but they are pretty good. Going to have to have an early night unfortunately, need to be up and out at silly o'clock as it's Grand Canyon day tomorrow. Can't wait, none of us have been in a helicopter before.
Too excited to sleep! BB xx
