And so he travelling begins: first stop the Big Apple! Day 1: The flight was pretty cool, had four seats to myself - very friendly big mama sat on the four seats next to me was chatting all the way through the flight. Watched 'North Country' was amazing film (started to get teary eyed near the end - and Big mama was howlin her eyes out)... Got to New York had to wait 1.5 hours in customs (no surprise there...) until I got arsy with the attendent and told him that if they were going to keep handing me over to different people to ask the same bloody questions why didn't they just hurry it along and send me to the last person i had to see - they got the hint and let me go through after that :) Went out with Ed and his friends (Sacha and Dave) that night - was great fun 9as you can tell by the pictures!) Day 2: Woke up late and then decided to go for a walk - went walking past all the major sites. Didnt really do much more... except Splash... Day 3: Went to walk again and then went Ice skating in Central Park - was lots of fun until this Big Mama came crashing into me - I went flying through the air and skidding across the rink... Day 4: Went on this Bus tour was OK - but kept on falling asleep. Took the free ferry to Staten Island. Went out at night to watch this band, then was chatting to the band members after and got invitied to this cool after party. Day 5: Carried on the rest of the bus tour, and took Disco Duck with me, stopped in Central Park - it was a really nice day so I was just lying in Central Park for most of it. Went to see the David Letterman show - was v funny and I got to see Beyonce and some sports guy. Met up with Tulna and her mates from University here - went to this dodgy mexican restaurant where there were rats etc... nice.
