Jet lag is evil. We have decided. Yesterday is now officially known as jet lag day. Ben barely knew what country we were in and Sarah didn't know what month we were in. Now imagine this and then trying to speak Spanish. Sarah replied to somebody asking Que tal with Que tal. Idiota!
Our hostel didn't help much with the jet lag since the bunk bed's slats were very precarious and during one of Sarah's multiple toilet visits, a slat fell onto Ben who was sleeping on the bottom bunk. Too much Peruvian food maybe?
Despite the horrors of jet lag, we did enjoy a 3 course lunch for less than £5! Get in! Although, Sarah didn't think that Ben's bright yellow cold potato starter looked too good. Apart from this, we mulled around in the park and sat in cafes, as there's not much else to do in Lima.
However, we have been so impressed with the warm and friendly reception we have received into Peru! Next, to Nazca!
