We left Calgary on the evening of July 22. Flight was fine, albeit a bit tight. Hard to sleep, but the movies were good!

Arrived at Heathrow in the morning of the 23rd and were met by the driver we had pre-arranged.

Our room at the Dukes Hotel was surprisingly ready and we all put our heads down for a short nap....3 hours later (!) we started to stir.

Sloan went and interrogated Ian the concierge and developed a game plan for our next day, as well as started to work out a plan to see a few shows.

With a restaurant recommendation in hand from Ian, we set out to explore the area around our hotel. Located near St. James Park, we wandered along Piccadilly Street until our hunger pangs over-whelmed us.

Dinner at Franco's, a nearby-by Italian place. There was a jazz duo playing and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
