Well, its nearly the end of our first two weeks here. Its been a great two weeks, we've been to the zoo at Terra Natura( photos and blog to follow), Si's parents have visited, we've been to Benissa and the local 'Valor' chocolate factory. We've watched most of the fiesta. A week ago, we were happily watching the Madonna on the boat going out to sea and back, which was to be followed by fireworks. We then saw a lightening storm out at sea- it was spectacular. It began on the horizon and started coming closer and closer towards us, by the time it was on top of us, the fireworks had begun and being the main night of the fiesta they were amazing especially when mixed with lightening. To make it even better we had sat on the edge of the Marina with rocks beneah us, so there was nothing between us, the lightening and the sea. However we didn't stay until the end as typical of Spanish rain, it suddenly came sideways leaving everyone soaked to the skin in a matter of minutes. This led to a mass exodus of Moraira which was definately interesting. Again, we are being made very wecome at Paco's and we've already had some memorable experiences there. The chocolate factory was good it was still a traditional factory rather than a main tourist attraction, and we found out Valor chocolates made some very ropey adverts. Well thats about it so far. We are planning to go exploring tomorrow so we will update more then and write about the zoo too.
