Hello again.

We have arrived in sunny, but cold Melbourne. well cold according to Australian standards and to what we had just got used to in Broome. Though to be honest with it being the middle of winter here I would take these sunny days anytime.

We were all very tired from our flight cross country from Broome via Perth, not only is it our 4th time zone change but it was also the 'Red-Eye' flight. We flew with Virgin Blue who were very good. I think we all finally had, had enough by the time we got in to Melbourne, (0515 EST) and after a cup of tea with our friends Heather & Chris we all crashed out and woke around midday.

Last night we saw our first AFL game at the MCG between Collingwwod & Adelaide. I think I have the rules cracked but it doesn't match up to Rugby Union. Still the game was interesting and Joe enjoyed it.

Today we went for lunch at a tiny place called St Andrew in the hills to the East of Melbourne, which is where the pictures of the custom / vintage cars were taken by Joe.

We are staying with our friends Heather & Chris at their place in Park Orchards which is a lovely area & tomorrow we are out for a day in the city.
