Hello everyone, apologies for the gap between the last blog, have been travelling and doing all the tourism bits.

We finished off Sydney in style packing in the Bridge Climb / Opera House and the Blue Mountains in the final couple of days. We also managed to find the pub on the Rocks where you BBQ your own selection of meats!!! Fantastic.

Have travelled up to Ayers Rock in the red centre, staying at the Sails in the Desert hotel where Karen the girls & I stayed 19yrs ago on our first aussie adventure. Temperature is a bit warmer here but not the summer temp of 40+ a cool low 20's with a cooler breeze, Joe & I have been in the pool but can't get Karen in the water just yet.

Taking the time to relax from a busy Sydney stint and heading out to see the sunrise over the rock tomorrow morning followed by a bushmans breakfast and a tour around the base of the rock itself.

Joe managed to get his window seat this time on the flight out here and he got a geat view of the rock as we came in to land.

We are here for 2 more days, as we leave on the 4th at lunchtime for Alice Springs where we overnight prior to getting the Ghan to Darwin.

As you can see we are all having a great time, eating & drinking well, though I do miss real cider as they only have 'strongbow!'
