Went across to a little island for dinner by a private charter boat. The food was nice once again. The lake was very calm and it was a lovely balmy night. Going home were entertained by some good old rock n roll music.
Left our little relaxation spot the next morning on our way to Florence. Stopped at Pisa for lunch and to take the obligatory photos. Arrived Florence late afternoon and had a short break before going to the Tuscan hills for dinner. Had dinner outside under the vines and were entertained by some music and a singer. Was picked out to have a couple of dances with the singer, a bit of fun. The meal was enormous - antipasto, followed by tortellini and ravioli, then a fillet steak, which was as Mel said "mouthwatering". Finished off with a selection of dessert. Plenty of wine. Mel enjoyed a sweet sparkling wine.
Yesterday spent the morning touring Florence then free time. Spent a few hours walking around looking at the shops. Leather and gold too expensive to buy. Back to Rome tomorrow for our last 2 days in Italy.
We have been so lucky with the weather from the beginning. The only rain we have had was while we were on the bus and it had stopped by the time we had to get off.
