I'm going to start this blog in sections today. Matt and I got up nice and early and we are waiting in a queue to go up the Eiffel tower. We are first in line, we got here about 8am thinking it opened at 9am. For all future travellers, it's 9.30am. It's now 8.45am so we are halfway there. Now it's 9.15pm. Bienvenue a Paris! Yes we are safely in Paris and the French have certainly turned on the weather for us... It's brilliantly sunny and warm. We arrived in Paris and didn't do too much in the afternoon, a wee nap and some food but tonight we were on our bikes for action... Macaroons and animals! Ok the blog pic is one of the oldest chocolate stores in Zurich and they make yummy macaroons which we have sampled a few times over. Today among macaroon eating we ventured to the zoo. The zoo here specializes mostly in south american and African animals. There were only two Australian animals... A shingleback lizard and a frilled neck one! Even their crocodile was from Indonesia. It was a nice day out. The best feature of the zoo is a hug...
