Sue's Travels
We found a spot for breakfast down the road from our cabin, Black Bear Coffee House. Like many of the small locally run restaurants we've visited in Alaska, we enjoyed food made from scratch or organic products such as homemade sourdough bread, organic tea (Mighty Leaf), cream cheese with garlic and herbs for a homemade bagel, scratch biscuits. Reindeer sausage is a frequent menu offering. We've had buffalo chili.
