We started from St. Louis at 10am and travelled for 548 miles to reach a backwoods RV camp in Tennessee. It reminded me of the movie Deliverance. A very nice guy called Jim gave me a tour of the lake at 10am, lucky me! We left Lake Cove RV Park at 10am to reach our destination after travelling 284 miles. This was through beautiful rolling hills of Appalachia. I did not realize how beautiful Tennessee, NC and SC were.
So we finally made it to Myrtle beach SC AT 6pm. The wonderful smell of the ocean reminded me why we drove such a long way to get here. The kids immediately went to the beach. The sunset was beautiful. After having brown rice and PF Chang chicken for dinner me and Zara went for a nice walk at the beach at night. We finally called it a night St 11pm local time. In the morning despite an alarm I could not get up at 6am for sunrise, surprise!
I am having a hard time procuring a rental car. Heard from my friend Tariq who is heading to Glenwood springs yesterday
Evening
Everybody spent the entire day at the pool and beach. I finally got a rental car, and I also made it to Camping World to buy Zara's bicycle carrier. We are currently at Lil' Tokyo Hibachi Grille near a bearded lunatic who is probably drunk. Thank God, he finally left.
Now we are trying to understand what the Russian waitress is trying to tell us about Japanese food! Fun
