Last days on the Yangtze. Saturday was a visit to Sun Yet Sen's mausoleum in Nanjing and at last there were the crowds. Hundreds of thousands at this big site with lovely gardens.
Lunch on board and then back in the bus to a temple and markets which were interesting. Lots of little stalls selling all sorts of things from silk to jade, knock knacks etc.
Then final night dinner which consisted of even more wonderful dishes and a visit from the captain.
Staff again displayed their various talents in a Cabaret and performed songs, musical performances and even magic tricks. They are very clever and obviously need to be able to do more than make beds and speak English to get a job on board.
Sunday we were up early and packed. I did my last early morning tai chi session led by the ships doctor - have not missed one session which is good. And then farewelled everyone from crew to the six other people who shared our table for the whole trip.
We were met by our guide and taken to our hotel in Shanghai.
