My holiday official started around 4pm when both mum and I walked out with my fully packed bags. After saying goodbye to Grandma and Grandad, I hoped into mum's car and we headed around to Cayley's place and picked her up as I asked her to film me. We then drove to the Gracemere ATM for me to draw some money out, before heading out to Rockhampton to go to the airport. Mum dropped Cayley and I off with my luggage in the dropoff zone before she took off to find a park. Cayley and I headed inside and I put my luggage through to the Virgin Blue mob.As I put my luggage through, the three of us then headed up the other end of the airport to get a quick bite to eat. Cayley shouted me my food, and then we went over and waited in the lounge. I'd been told that the flights were behind due to a technical mishap during the day and most flights were behind schudule. Anyway, my plane arrived so I queued the line to security. After clearing through, I headed in the lounge where I spent the rest of my time poking faces at Cayley's video camera. I couldn't hear a word she was saying through the glass, but I'll certainly hear it when I get back!! Our flight was then called to board. I hoped on line with everyone else and then headed out the door towards the plane and jumped aboard. I got my requested window seat [19A], and was lucky enough to have an empty seat beside me. We finally took off and I just listened to my music while reading the voyer magazine. Just upon decent, we hit some turbulance, but hit the ground safely. The plane landed in Brisbane around 6:45pm.As soon as we got off and headed to the lounge, I got some red rooster for tea from the eatery section before heading down stairs, collecting my bag and calling the motel for pickup.Fifteen minutes later I was picked up by the courtesy bus and arrived at the 'Airport Motel' and checked in to room 18. After entering my room, I relaxed for 5 minutes before eating my tea. I then asked mum to phone me so she could do some transfers for me, as I'd had some problems with my internet banking earlier during the day. After that, we talked for about 15 minutes. I then went for a shower, repacked my bags and layed in bed watching TV until 10:30pm. I set my alarm for 4:30am[END OF DAY 1]
