First stop - Tiverton Parkway... well... it wasn't supposed to be, but thats what you get for getting on the wrong train! Great Start! Back on board the right train and were on our way to London for an overnight stop before our early flight on route to Sydney.

After 24 hours of travelling we were beyond tired so Maccy D's and an early night worked a treat! The first day in Sydney was a rather lazy one, we decided to have a stroll around Darling Harbour and popped into the National Maritime Museum. It wasn't a great day weather wise so we grabbed some lunch and headed for the IMAX theatre and watched Pirates Of the Caribbean in 3D which was pretty impressive - even if I did sleep through most of it! The rest of the day was spent with more sleeping and a trip to Maloney's for a $10 steak dinner - yummy!

Day 2 we got the free shuttle to the Harbour and had a walk to the Opera House and around The Rocks, lucky for us the sun started shinning (its not easy finding cheap indoor things to do in the city) so we took a walk through the town and headed back down to Darling Harbour where we had great pizza and pide (like pizza but rolled up on the sides - delicious) as the sun was out the Harbour was in full swing, a big change to yesterday's ambiance, so we sat on the Harbourside for a good hour or so taking in our surroundings before heading to Hyde Park to lay in the sun. Tonight we went a great Thai restaurant recommended to us by one of the guys from the hostel, the food was sublime and set us up well for our 8 hour journey to our next destination - Coffs Habour!
