Jambo guys, have finally got onto your website, and Ashley I'm loving your blog's! (J.D - I'm sure you're having input too!!!) I'm reliving every moment on that big bad and I've got a new word 'bumpy' truck!!! So it's the Big Bad Bumpy Truck! Must say, I'm not missing it, and the relief to get back to London and have a HOT shower and a decent FLUSHING toilet! Good to see you've managed to download some photos. I've only downloaded the digital ones on my camera and will take the film ones in tomorrow (yes I know, very prehistoric). Glad to see you guys enjoyed Zanzibar - isn't it Paradise! Shame we missed each other up there. How is the truck going? Say Hi to Gav, Dale and Summer for me. Picked up any new ones yet? Take care guys, people back here just don't understand when I suddenly have an outburst of "..........LET'S GO WAFTING ON THE WHITE NILE..............."!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Lotsa love, Wendy

Everyone here's well, your gran was brilliant getting her teeth out all that anxiety for those months and they came out without any bother. She was a "Rough Tough Commando" must take that after you John-David.
Our weather has finally (Fingers crossed) turned around. Yesterday I parked my car at the Maggie and when I got back into it the outside temp was 35.5degrees did come down to 25.5 when I started driving & that was 4pm. Couldn't say what it was inside the car but safe to say I was sorry I hadn't a T bag with me coz I could have used the bottle of water I had left in the car Today is LU-VLY again. Haven't checked out temperatures but feels pretty much like yesterday.
Just 3& a half weeks to me & your aunties are off to Salamanca: woooooh!! I was out shopping with Kelly in Braehead last night but I was very good, didn't spend a penny: well I went to the toilet but I didn't buy anything. OK dinner; but that doesn't count, I cant wear that. I've made a promise to myself (I know that is so pathetic) that I will not buy anything more for this holiday as I bought more than enough before we went to Teneriffe.
I suppose I should go now I have a couple of wee errands to do then back home to sit out the back and finish my book. Sorry to anyone stuck indoors with no air-con.
Same old same old: Take great care of each other, Missing you sooooo much. Love you hunners & hunners Luvmum & dadxxxx

Hi you two,
How you doing? Thanx for the text on Friday, I didn't get it for a couple of hours after you sent it so sorry for the slow reply. I was out on Friday night with Aunt HT, Ann Slaven, Big Mo and Tricia O'Rourke. We have been trying to arrange it for ever and finally made it on Friday night. We went to the Crowwood (again) and had a lovely night gabbing and catching up.
Dad couldn't golf at all this weekend because of non-stop torrential rain on Saturday. Yesterday was the pro-am and it rained a bit yesterday too. He didn't hear anything about the pro-am but if he does I'll keep you posted.
It was Tony's 30th Birthday on Friday and I think they had a bit of a drunken couple of days. His party is on Saturday. Think they are looking forward to that too. No doubt there will be lots of photos posted on bebo. She has even talked Tony into a bebo site.
Hope you are both well and still enjoying yourselves, and that the new folk are as good as the last ones.
Well take care, hear from you soon Love you loads Luvmumxx

Hi John David and Ashley
Hows you? I've just had a lovely relaxed evening, watching Big Brother, glass of wine and chillin. I love Fridays, the weekend, and it seems so long till Monday, but sadly, tomorrow will fly, Sunday is ironing the work clothes day, another wee wine, then it s all over for another week.
Sounds like you are still buzzing around filling life with lots of experiences and having a great time.
As always, keep safe, look after each other and have a great time.
Love you lots

Mum
Hello there,
Hope this finds you both well and still having a wonderful time. We had a lovely night for Kelly's birthday and as she said the only thing missing was you. I don't know if you caught it: we went to Manna in Bath Street the meal was "delicious" and the wine pretty nice too. At the end of the night and once we were all full to bursting they brought out her cake and she had to blow out her candles. (The fire extinguisher was at hand but don't tell her I said that) We went down to The Brunswick afterwards for another couple of little drinks.
Think we said last night dad had a promotion panel yesterday and everything went well: A Tick in The Box. Hopefully by the time you get home we will have some good news.
Dad had a long lie today(9am) 'cause he was going to Beatson with me: I got on fine and Dr. Canney was quite pleasant. He even described me as "young" and used the word "normal" too!! You've got to love the man. Your dad dropped me at the Maggie on his road back to work. I thought I had relaxation 2pm but it is not until next week I took the bus into town and got the train home to Newton where I'd parked the car this morning.
Rightio I suppose I should go and maybe even make some dinner for the Big guy coming home.
Well until the next time we speak
Take care, look after each other, Love you loads & Loads Luvmumxx
