As I mentioned, the flight was very smooth. I slept most of the time, catching up my sleep as went to bed at 4.30am this morning, yes very exhausted! Landed Istanbul all safe, collected my bags. Went to the tourist information counter and enquired about transport to my hostel, they tried to rip us off by charging us 60TL whereas we refused and went on shuttle bus instead and paid 24TL for both of us. The ride was lovely, sightseeing and went on istanbul famous bridge between Asia and Europe (saw a sign stating 'welcome to Europe!). We arrived Tazsim Square and followed the direction from the hostel website, which was simply follow the tram line for 20 minutes. As we walked along the tram rail, we were in central of Istanbul and saw plenty of traditional buildings and shops. We finally arrived our destination, the hostel is small and cosy and is very suitable for backpackers traveller, just what we expected :) now as I am writing this, drinking cold beers - just what I need! I've been thinking of my Hannah, I do miss her very much already. Off to bed now, night all! X
