hey everyone, sorry that i havent write on my blog for like 2 months but havent had a computer for the couple of months so. Its all good... well let me start off by say that my flight was ridiculuas long and then my plane in frankfurt got delayed for an extra hour so i didnt get into venice until 1:00 in the moring... frankfurt was pretty cool.. the airport is really nice as well.. the people are really interesting.... i was totally tired when i got to venice because i have been traveling for 3 days and then i had to get to the ship at like 7:00 in the morning... i was the most nervouse person but i wasnt the only new person there so it was all good... the cabins onboard are alot smaller then what i had expected bu they are really cozy and roomie at the same time... its a small bathroom which you share with your cabin mate.. my cabin mate is really cool, she is from belarus... we got along so well, we had good time together... there was 2 smoking rooms for the crew with a crew bar as well... it was amazing on what type of things you can do onboard... im not lying when i say this but when you live a a boat for 6 months you are in your own little bubble and you dont realize how much you miss being on land for a couple of hours because you are in a different world and you live work eat and party with the same people that you grow and care about... the shops onboard are not what i had expected what so ever... its hard work but it is totally worth it... i work with holland america on ms nieuw amsterdam and we went to itlay, turkey, croatia, greece, spain, france, and protugal.... i had the most amazing time is all of these ports... the port that i loved the best is the greek islands. one of the port that we went to in greece is santeringi. it is so beautiful and peaceful... when you look out over the water you can see the volcano the across from the island... now we are in the caribbean until april.. the caribbean is AMAZING, we went to grand turk, san juan, saint maarten, half moon cay, cozumel, and many different ones as well. the people that i work with are totally awesome and so much fun.. i have been meeting so many different people and have a lot of new friends.... now after two months of being onboard i ended up getting transfered to a new ship because 3 people are leaving which really f***ing sucks because the team that i work with is my new family and friends... you get really close to the people that you work with and its hard to leave them but you know you are going to see them again on a different boat and a different contract... the other people that i meet work in different departments and are amazing people... then there the thing of having a boyfriend onboard as well that i had to leave behind but it is still going to work out... but for the past two months i have seen the most amazing places in the world that i would have never have thought to go to in my life... so now on my new ship ill meet new people and new friend... now i get to see the other side of the caribbean... going to all these place are so much and i have lot of pictures which i have to figure out how to get them onto my blog and facebook so that you guys can see my amazing team and the place that i have been... so where we live in on one of the lower decks called deck 4 where all the shoppies and entertainers live then the rest of the crew live on B deck and C deck... the show that the cruise line puts on is fantastic, they really take care of thier guess. But i have still ran into the most stupidest people in the world as well or they are just rude because they are basically unhappy in general. most of the time the guest are really easy to get along with... when i ended up doing the crossing from europe to the US is was the most longest 10 days of my life because we miss a port, then we had some one died, 5 strokes, and a cardiac arrest peroson. then we went in to code yellow, which means that there is a possibility that there NOV outbreak. then i ended up getting sick and it was crazy... now i just at the hotel until tomorrow then board tomorrow... other than that i have been doing great and it has been amazing time so far... ill keep everyone posted as soon as i can..
