So what seems the longest build up in the history of the world we are little more than a week and a half away from leaveing. All preperations are over... all a few thousand pound poorer, all with biceps like rocks after the numerous injections (I had 10 in 5 weeks!) most of us alot more worldly wide... it is recommended to wear large dark sunglasses in Asian countries to avoid unwanted eye contact with men and all very very excited.

I started the first of my good byes at the weekend and was upset by my lack of tears, don't worry it's not because I won't miss you, it's because it still hasn't sunk in that this time in 2 weeks I may well be sat on top of an elephant! When it comes to actually leaving the flood gates will open and my parents might actually have to drag me into the airport!

So what does the next week and a half bring.... a few drunken leaving parties, some sophisticated lunches, an early Christmas or 2 (hopefully with presents) and test run packing...(which should probably have been done by now!)

Next time we write it will be take - off time!!!!!
