Lazy morning, rainy and cold. Walked to market at the back on the srarch for dumplings when i discovered this beautiful old part of chengdu. How could i have missed that earlier. Dumpling soup for breakie at usual place. The girl working there again. And it's monday. Why she not at school? Relaxing at guesthouse. Went back to old town for ... guessed right: more dumplings. They were awesome! Then spoiled it with some horrible greasy fried rice paddie that nearly ...

Spent several hrs booking flight. Managed in the end. Also ordered third volume of millenium. And some other book by norwegian author. Will see. Enjoyed long walk around residential parts of chengdu. Awesome dumplings for dinner. And those chestnut lookalike fruit. No luck with plumwine though. b*****. Bus to langzhong tomorrow, then onwards ti xian and beijing.

Arrived very early. Surprisingly mild temp. Found guesthouse after a while. Went to explore old parts of town. Quite nice but touristy again. Walked through tibetan quarter and around the city. Tried booking flights but internet too slow. Again tomorrow.
