Who says cheats never prosper? The flight into Bangkok was over in the time it took for a nap. Anything else would have been at least 12 hours with some from of torture involved. We'd booked ahead into another $10 a night special. We were not disappointed, polished floors, corner sofas, massive cushions and a Japanese garden complete with Koy carp, 2 minutes walk away from one of the most insane streets in the world.Back on the Koh San Road, Bangkok! Assault on the senses again. We decided to have a cheap meal so bring on the famous Koh San street food. We strolled around soaking up the atmosphere for one last time, feeling sad but excited about the unknown that lay ahead of us. Our flight to Hong Kong was not until the late afternoon. It was a good to time to let Jo out the cage. Time to shop! The Chatuchak Market was the perfect place to try and blow the budget. Its known as the weekend market amongst other things and its clear the reason for this is the time it would take to get around the whole place. Even then I'm sure it would need Indiana Jones to help you out from the inner depths. Massive; redefined. Anything could be bought here. A n y t h i n g. There were so many stalls, so many things….Jo needed help just to stay focused! Surprisingly we managed to leave and not too much of dent in the budget either (we did try as well) We got back to the hotel in just enough time to get our packs on and jump into a taxi, this really was it. Thailand. Done.
